Sunamp UniQ HW+iPV Heat Battery

UniQ HW +iPV uses an external heating source (e.g. a boiler) as a main source of heat, and surplus PV energy to provide an AC power supply, which is supplied to the electric heater inside the Heat Battery. This is a great way to add water storage and increase the self-consumption of a PV system. The reduced size combined with the fact that the Sunamp does not need any venting allows for full flexibility in install location.
Only the Myenergi Eddi can be used as an immersion controller at present.
How is it charged?
An external hot water source such as a boiler or high-temperature heat pump (HTHP) as it's primary source with excess PV charging when available.
